TERMS AND CONDITIONS

What Happens When i Order a Sign?

We will notify you by email as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your order and send you a further email to confirm your details. Please note that neither email is acceptance of your order. Our acceptance of your order will take place when we dispatch the product(s) to you.

Payment can be made by any method specified in the payment section. We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorized access to information provided by you.

Shipping Policy

All Shipping is done via Fastway Couriers or An Post.please see production times for an estimate on delivery time. Please ensure you delivery address is correct and you include a phone number or else the courier may not be able to deliver, if you know your eircode also include.

Production Times

Timber Signs: Approximately 15 working days

at times we will experience high volume of orders and delivery times may vary,  please email us and we can clarify times

Designer Pet Tags: 

Order processed within 48 hours,could take up 2 to 5 working days for delivery depending on Location.

Motif Signs: 15 - 20 Working Days

If sign is undelivered by courier due to unanswered phone calls from courier or incorrect address the customer will incur additional chargers for delivery.

Please note these times are approximate and due the bespoke nature of the products time can vary especially in times like Christmas, If time is of the essence please contact us and we will try and fast track your order.

Fermoy Signs shall not be liable for any delay in delivering your products should the delay be caused by circumstances beyond our control. These circumstances include war, riot, civil war, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or government order, rule, regulation or direction, fire, flood, storm or act of God, failure of ISP or telecommunications provider in connection with the fulfilment of purchases.

Cancellation and Returns.

if you would like to cancel your order we need to be notified within 24 hours of your order in writing. Once your order is made we will be unable to cancel and refund your order due to the bespoke nature of the product,

If you want tot return your sign , we will need the sign returned before refund is made. Once the goods are received either a full refund of your monies or replacement goods will be provided

No returns will be made if the mistake on the order is made by the customer.

Goods received damaged in transit will be replaced as soon as possible free of charge, to the same specifications as the original order.

Returns are made at the customers’ expense, although we may waive this responsibility in certain circumstances.

 

Changing An order 

If you have submitted a order and then require a change to your sign after that. It has to be done so in writing and done so as soon as possible after the order is made. We will do our best to facilitate the request if possible.

*A voice message will not be accepted. 

 

Sign Information

Colours, shapes and sizes. The colour of goods may vary slightly from that shown on the website due to limitations of browser software and monitors.

Also colour variations are likely to occur due to the nature of natural materials used.

Irregular shaped plaques, may vary slightly from the samples shown.

All sizes quoted are approximate.

We reserve the right to alter customers lettering layout to maintain balance of design.

Where there is more text than the recommended number of characters, it will result in the font size being smaller in order to fit into the sign layout, this principal applies to all products, Timber signs, Pet-Tags, Brass Signs, Name-Badges & Motif Signs. This is also the case if you require 3 lines of text on the A3L, AH5L Oak, Teak or A3D.

Note Some text fonts condense more than others, as a a result depending on the amount of characters the font size height might have to be marginally reduced in size in order to fit it into sign layout. This can be seen clearly on the Font selection picture.

It is the customers responsibility to advise us of any maximum or minimum dimensions at the time of order.

 

We may change any part of these terms and conditions. It is the responsibility of the customer to check if changes have been made. Your continued use of this website after changes have been made will constitute your acceptance of the changes to these terms

 

Sign Maintenance

We recommend that timber signs get a coat of a good quality varnish or oil depending on the existing finish every year to maintain apperance. The sign should get a light sanding of sandpapper before applicaion of finish.

Every sign that leaves Fermoy Signs gets five coats of International Marine varnish,which is highly durable one- part polyurethane gloss varnish & Contains HALS and UV absorbers for superior UV resistance.

Brass signs will need regular cleaning because once exposes to the elements it will tarnish. Also we would recommend that the backing board be maintained with a good exterior varnish annually.

 

Fermoy Signs reserves the right to remove or add products to the online shop at any time.

Failed Deliveries. All orders whether ‘Free delivery’ or ‘Charged for’ delivery refer to an order being sent to a given address once only.

Consumer Rights. None of the above Terms and Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights

 

REFUND POLICY

We deal with this on case by case basis due to the bespoke nature of the product. Customer satisfaction is our priority and if you have a problem with your order we will engage with the customer and find a resolution. If a refund is agreed to be the only solution

 

The money will be refunded to the original payment method you’ve used during the purchase. For credit card payments it may take 5 to 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement.
